In this HxGN TV Tech Talk, we talk to CEO/President of Sigma Space Corporation, an aerospace engineering firm providing LiDAR hardware solutions and operational and data services to DoD and Commercial markets. Their Single Photon LiDAR System (SPL) provides the most efficient approach to rapid, high-resolution 3D mapping in a variety of environments. SPL requires only one detected photon per ranging measurement, as opposed to hundreds or thousands of detected photons per ranging measurement for conventional or Geiger Mode airborne LiDARs. Sigma’s SPL systems can deliver data to the commands faster and with more resolution than ever before.
